Privacy Notice

Innovarq Media, LLC ("we", "us") provides InstaQuote and is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide how and why it is used.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, password or Google sign-in, business name and type): to create and run your account. Basis: performing our contract with you.
• Quote content (project answers, client names and emails, notes, prices): to save quotes and show them to clients you share them with. Basis: contract.
• Project descriptions you send to AI features: to generate follow-up questions. Basis: contract.
• Subscription status (plan, status, renewal dates, customer reference): to give you the right features. Basis: contract.
• Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser details, error logs): to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems. Basis: our legitimate interests.
• Messages you send us: to provide support. Basis: legitimate interests.

If you add your clients' details, you are responsible for having a lawful reason to share them with us.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, database, authentication and AI model providers, only as needed to provide it.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling subscriptions, managing them, taking payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep account data and quotes while your account is open. If a renewal payment fails, we keep your data for about a month while payment is retried. When you delete your account, your profile and quotes are deleted, and we delete or anonymise remaining data when it is no longer needed, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can edit your profile and delete your account yourself on your account page. For other requests, contact us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and rules that stop users seeing each other's quotes.

Cookies and local storage

We only use essential browser storage, to keep you signed in and make the Service work. We don't use advertising cookies.
